To qualify to ride with TACC you must be at least 60 years old or under 60 with a disability.

TACC services Cleveland County residents offering transport to local appointments including appointments to Gastonia, Charlotte, and to the VA in Asheville.

We also provides trips to doctors and for pharmacy pickup trips.

We ask that all passengers to be ready at least one hour before appointment time to allow for other passengers and allow time for our driver to get you there on time.

At this time there is no cost to ride with our CCT service.

We do transport elderly and disabled Medicaid passengers, we have contracts with local agencies and we have some funding for residents that do not have an agency to pay for their transportation.

Yes, all of our vans are ADA compliant with wheelchair lifts, and vans are sanitized every day.

Yes, we do allow service dogs to ride.

Pets that are not considered service animals will not be allowed on the vans.

Smoking, eating, drinking, and weapons are not permitted.

TACC will limit or cancel scheduled trips when hazardous road conditions are present.

Listen to WOHS radio station, WBTV(3) or WSOC (9) television stations for delayed openings or closings.

The base rate is $1.67 per van mile in or out-of-county (plus $25 per hour if the driver is required to wait on a passenger). Private contracts are considered on an individual basis and costs will be quoted based on the request.

There is no cost to ride Cleveland County Transit. Route deviation of ¾ mile from the nearest stop may be available upon request. The request must be made during normal business hours and at least 24 hours in advance. Only one deviation per round is available.
